KTR Calls for Hyderabad to Become Global AI Hub

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has urged the State and Central governments to avoid unnecessary interference in private companies and help Hyderabad grow into a global hub for artificial intelligence (AI).

Speaking in Hyderabad on Saturday, KTR said businesses that create jobs should be allowed to work without pressure from government agencies. He also called for better roads, water supply, streetlights and law and order to support business growth.

KTR made the remarks after opening Random Trees’ primary Indian headquarters in Hyderabad. The company has a workforce of 400 employees.

He said AI should be seen as a source of new job opportunities rather than a threat to employment. He urged young people to build the skills needed to work with new technology.

KTR also called on the government to attract more investment in data and AI. He said private companies play a key role in creating jobs for young people.

With changes taking place in the IT sector, he stressed the need for skilling, upskilling and reskilling so workers can adapt to new roles and opportunities.
