Mumbai: Actor Emraan Hashmi has been roped in for the fourth installment of the “Raaz” franchise. After playing lead roles in “Raaz”, “Raaz 2” and “Raaz 3”, the actor is gearing up for the upcoming film. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will direct the horror flick.
The “Raaz Reboot” will roll in Europe towards the year end. At present, Vikram Bhatt is in South Africa with “Love Games” but the screenplay is locked. It is a horror-cum-love story and needs snow. Snow has a certain texture which will take it into a different spatial world which is different from any of the earlier films, according to reports.
The project has been delayed due to thematic issues. The film was supposed to roll on the floors this year but got delayed. It is heard that the thriller is a different take on horror and film will be shot on international standards in Romania. The regular shooting is expected to begin on June 1 next year.
