Chennai: Super star Rajinikanth starrer “Kabali” has got a release date. The movie makers of the forthcoming film have planned to release the movie in April 2016, during the time of Tamil New Year. The exact date of the release is not yet decided.
Currently, the regular shooting is underway as it recently hit floors. The shooting is expected to be wrapped up by January next year. After that the post production work is scheduled for next two months.
Filmmaker Pa. Ranjith’s directorial “Kabali” stars Radhika Apte in a female lead role opposite Rajinikanth. The movie also features Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Dhanshikaa in supporting roles. Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of of a gangster in the action entertainer. The story of the film is reportedly based on the life of a don.
The regular shooting is underway in Chennai and the team is expected to shoot the film in Malaysia after the completion of Chennai’s schedule. Santhosh Narayanan is scoring tunes and Kalaipul S. Thanu is producing the film.
