Hyderabad: The much-awaited IIFA Utsavam 2015 has been postponed due to Chennai floods. The management of the IIFA decided to postpone the star-studded ceremony until January 2016. The mega celebration of the South Indian Cinema will be held in the January with a fund-raising event for the Chennai.
“Today we are one with the city of Chennai and together with the film industry. We will show our complete support in aid of those affected by this tragedy. The first edition of IIFA Utsavam in conjunction with the film industries of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will be held later as a fund raiser for the flood victims. We are saddened by this disaster and our prayers and support are with the people of the city,” said a statement issued by the IIFA management.
