Sanjay Dutt to walk out of jail in March

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was convicted for his role in the March 12, 1993, Mumbai serial blasts, is expected to walk out a free man in early March from the Yeravada Central Jail, according to reports. However, he has been out of jail many times on furlough. An official announcement is still awaited in this regard.

The actor was sentenced to five years imprisonment and then shifted to the Yerawada Central Jail. He had 18 months in jail before getting bail after his arrest in 1996. Then he was transferred to Yerawada Central Jail for serving the remaining prison term of 42 months.
