Brace yourselves Mega fans, as the moment for which you all were eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. Mega star Chiranjeevi is all set to start shooting for his 150th film very soon.
Ram Charan has just confirmed that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will reportedly be the Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film Kaththi. AR Murugadoss, who wrote and directed the original, has been asked to make suitable changes to the script to fit Chiranjeevi’s persona. The remake will be directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Madhu.
Chiranjeevi in Kaththi Remake
This will be the second time that Chiranjeevi and Vinayak will join hands for a Telugu film after Tagore.
This has come as a major respite to mega fans across the world as his 150th film has been long awaited by many. However, the fans did get to see Chiranjeevi on the big screen with his small stint in Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee. The fans refused to even blink an eye during the whole 4-minute sequence. And finally there it was, the Mega Star on the cinemascope after years. Every theatre in the country erupted with Megastar’s entry, with few fans choosing to swamp the theatre with flowers and papers, while a few others couldn’t resist the emotion and broke into tears of joy, all while screaming on the top of their voices.
Well, if a 3 minute cameo of him could make fans go upside down, we wonder, what would happen after they watch him on a full length feature film.
We wish Chiranjeevi all the luck for his upcoming film, and hope it turns out to be yet another blockbuster.
