Mumbai: The makers of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s forthcoming film “Sarbjit” revealed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s poster from the film. Under Omung Kumar’s direction ‘Sarabjit’, it has officially kicked off today. The biopic is based on an Indian Farmer Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan. Reports stated that inmates in a prison in Lahore, attacked him in 2013, that lead to his death a few days later.

Randeep Hooda has been signed for Sarabjit Singh’s character. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the role of Dalbir Kaur Singh as it role demanded a very strong character with a powerful aura and undoubtedly Aishwarya perfectly fits the bill. Chaddha has also been roped in the film, to play the part of Sarabjit’s wife. The team will be shooting for 70-days in Punjab.
Producer Vashu Bhagnani took to his Twitter to share his picture along with director Omung Kumar and the clapper.
