Chennai: Bollywood beauty Radhika Apte joined South super star Rajinikanth for the shooting of their upcoming flick “Kabali”. The actress joined the final schedule of the shoot in Malaysia. According to reports, important scenes Rajinikanth and Radhika and a few action sequences are expected to be shot during the 3-week long schedule.
Touted to be a gangster drama in Tamil, the actress will be seen playing a romantic role opposite Rajinikanth as his wife. Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the regular shooting of the film is progressing well with a rapid pace in Malaysia. It is heard that film also stars a few Malaysian actors in supporting roles.
“Kabali” is based on the real-life don Kabaleeshwaran and Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of an an ageing don in the action entertainer. The picture also stars Dhanshikaa, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Ritwika in important roles. The makers are planning to release the flick in May.
