Complaint filed against RGV’s upcoming film “Vangaveeti”

Hyderabad: Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is no new to controversies, once again hit headlines with his upcoming film “Vangaveeti”. RGV decided to direct the film on the most sensitive issue of Andhra Pradesh and is embroiling in the controversies. The film is centered around the rivalry between Vangaveeti family and Devineni family.

Recently, Ram Gopal Varma announced his forthcoming movie titled “Vangaveeti” and is gearing up to make a movie on the evolution of rowdyism in Vijayawada. Now, a complaint has been filed against the director RGV by Global Gandhi Trust. The trust has asked NV Surendar Babu, Vijayawada in-charge CP, to stop the director from filming his upcoming movie Vangaveeti.

According to reports, president of the trust, Naraharasetty Sreehar said that the film will create tension between the two castes and might result in violence in the city again.

The President also added that with the film, the director Ram Gopal Varma is trying to create tension once again in the city, which is now in peace. He further stated that he should be stopped by anyways for not directing the drama.
