Sonam Kapoor’s “Neerja” Earns Rs 22.01 Crore

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor starrer “Neerja” is the talk of town. The film was opened in theatres on February 19 and has set the box office on fire with its collections. The good reviews and word-of-mouth publicity is making people to watch the flick, which is based on a young flight attendant, Neerja Bhanot. In just three days of the release, the movie managed to collect Rs 22.01 crore in the country.

The Ram Madhvani directed “Neerja” is based on the true events of the flight Pan Am, which was hijacked by a group of terrorists. The flight attendant Neerja Bhanot saved the lives of 359 passengers but lost her own.
