New Delhi: In this video, an elderly man dressed in black suit is seen clicking pictures with the minor girl, beachside.
The man defended himself claiming that he married the teenager with her parent’s consent. However, locals were not impressed and one of the woman insisted on taking the girl along with her as she was like her daughter and she can’t leave her with that man.
This video was shot by an NGO Kafa, which means ‘enough’, with support of United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) against the child marriages in Lebanon.
Thank god! this video was just a part of the awareness campaign, not the reality. But it managed to highlight successfully a major social menace.
