New Delhi: A day after the Supreme court has informed that the business man has already left the country, the court indicate that the Kingfisher airlines founder is residing in his country house at Tiwen village, on the outskirts of London.
His country home, named as Ladywalk, spread over thirty acres, it is the biggest bungalow on Queen Hoo Road. A few media reports said that the guards at the country home initially affirmed Mallya’s presence there, but later refused sensing media presence.
Mallya, who is facing legal proceedings for allegedly defaulting loans of over Rs 9,000 crores from various banks, has left the country a week back, government yesterday informed the Supreme Court. The bench issued notice to Mallya and sought his response within two weeks on pleas filed by a consortium of banks seeking direction for freezing his passport and his presence before the apex court.
