Odisha: International sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo created a mesmerizing sand sculpture on the eve of Holi in the golden sea beach, near light house of puri, 65 km far from Bhubaneswar. His sculpture is spreading love and peace message throughout the world .
The length of this sculpture is 12 feet, utilizing 6 tons of sand by continuous labour of 8 hours . By preparing this sculpture the artist also wants to give the message “No Chemicals Enjoy a pure Holi”.
The festival signifies the victory of good over evil. We play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships, and is also celebrated as a thanks giving for a good harvest.
