Chennai: A 24-year-old, Infosys employee was reportedly hacked to death by an unidentified man in Nungambakkam railway station at around 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning. According to the police, the victim S.Swathi, hailing from South Gangai Amman Koil Street Choolaimedu was waiting at platform number 2 of the railway station to board a train to work.
As per the witness, ‘a man approached her as she was waiting, and soon, an argument broke out between them. Subsequently he took out a sharp weapon and hacked her to death.’ Police are investigating that angle too.
