Hyderabad: On Friday, ‘Krishna Pushkaralu’ began in both Telugu speaking states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Many people took holy dips at several pushkar ghats along river Krishna.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his family took a holy dip at the Pushkar ghat in Gondimalla of Mahbubnagar district around 5.58 A.M., formally marking the beginning of Pushkaralu. The Chief Minister was accompanied by a couple of his Cabinet Ministers including Endowments Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy, Health Minister Laxma Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Laxma Reddy and Mahabubnagar Collector Sreedevi. The officials also offered Puja and prayers.
He took to his official Twitter handle shared a few pictures and wrote, “Completed my Pushakara Snanam at Durga Ghat. Prayed for the well-being of Telugus all over. #Krishnamma.”
