Star Plus’s new campaign ‘Nayi Soch’ has the three men in blue Dhoni, Kohli and Rahane pay tribute to their mothers in a beautiful way. The three men have changed their names on their jerseys to their Mothers’ instead.
The campaign has come out with three new videos featuring Indian Cricket teams’ biggest names as a part of its aim to question various societal stereotypes against women. The videos show the cricketers talking about their mothers and what they have done for them, drawing from real life experiences.

Dhoni’s jersey has his mother’s name- Devki printed on the back, instead of Dhoni. Rahane and Kohli too have their mothers’ names on their jerseys- Sujata and Saroj respectively.

The campaign was unveiled on October 16th during the India-New Zealand ODI series.

“We at Star India are very happy to partner with BCCI for an iconic brand initiative of ‘Nayi Soch’. Star Plus has been a lighthouse brand for women,” said Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director, Star India, in a statement.
