The Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh would witness heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next few days, said the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD.)
Due to the cyclone circulation, which is continuing in the Southwest Bay of Bengal and moving westward at a speed of 25 kilometres per hour, the Telugu State is witnessing rainfall, which is to intensify in the next two to three days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that it will move in a west-westerly direction on Tuesday and move towards South Coastal Andhra and North Tamil Nadu, afterwards. The IMD further said, due to the cyclone circulation, there will be light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning at some places in South Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and one or two places in North Coastal Andhra till the 24th of November. Furthermore, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted in some regions of south coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema.
Meanwhile, due to heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, people are witnessing low temperatures, below 18 degree celsius, especially at night.
