The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government launched Vanijya Utsav 2021.

On the 21st of September, Tuesday, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., launched the event to enhance trade and exports in the State. The event was organised and hosted by the State government in association with the Plastic Export Promotion Council.

As per the YSRCP Government Vanijya Utsav-2021 program, launched in Vijayawada, several small businesses exhibit their products aiming to enhance their export trade.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the stalls set up at the event location, and reviewed the products exhibited. In addition, the YSRCP Government also launched the A.P., Export Road Map Brochure along with an e portal, dedicated to exports. The Chief Minister also assured the Government support to all the industries dealing with export.

Mr. Adityanath Das, the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh also participated in the event. Briefing about the export carnival, Mr. Adityanath said Andhra Pradesh exports grew by 19.43 % compared to the last two years. He said the Vanjiya Utsav aims to enhance the state’s trade exports as there is a huge potential for export trades in Andhra Pradesh, boosting entrepreneurs to make commercial products and send them to other states. Products of pharma electronics, food processing and textile industries are a few examples of high export trade scope. In addition, Mr. Mekapati Goutham Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Industries and Commerce Minister said the State aims to increase exports to $ 33.7 billion by 2030 from the existing $16.8 billion. In addition, the State Government aims to enhance their export contribution from 4 % to 10 %to the nation.

Launched at a State level today, the event would continue to be organised as fairs at district level on the 24th of September, the 25th of September and the 26th of September.
