The Mandapeta Police in East Godavari, on the 25th of July, found the 4 year old Jashith, who was kidnapped from his residence in Vijayalakshmi Nagar, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, the kidnappers dropped Jashith in Kuthukular, where the villagers identified him and informed the police about the same. The police immediately rushed to the place and brought him back to Vijayalakshmi Nagar, to his parents.
It is suspected the kidnappers were afraid of the police, due to which they left the boy at midnight, on the 24th of July in Kuthukular, Anaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.
Jashith, who is the only child of his parents, Venkataramana and Nagavalli, was kidnapped during late night on the 21st of July when he was entering his house with his grandmother.
Venkataram and Nagavalli work as assistant managers in public sector banks in Mandapeta, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.
According to the Police, the kidnapping was due to a personal issue as after kidnapping, the parents of Jithesh did not get any call for ransom.
The Mandapeta Police were trying to analyse all the angles of the case, but were clueless about it until they got a call from the villagers of Kuthukular who said the boy is in the village.
A team of police went to Kuttukular and brought Jashith safely. When asked about his kidnappers, Jashith said he knew one of the kidnappers and his name is Raju.
Nayeem Asmi, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of East Godavari, said, “Babu is very happy to be safe. Thanks to all the people who helped to identify the boy. They are trying desperately to catch the kidnappers. Police suspect the boy’s abduction was due to personal reasons. The inquiry is underway.”
The Police registered a case of kidnapping and launched an investigation to catch the accused involved in the kidnapping of Jashith.
