The South Central Railway started a special train service to make travelling from Hyderabad to Guntur and vice versa easier during Dussehra.
The special trains, which will run regularly from Secunderabad to Vijayawada and vice versa, will have Guntur as one of the stops and will run only till the 10th of October.
The decision to start the train services for the passengers was taken by the railway authorities to make travel easier and faster for commuters during the festive season of Dussehra and Bathukamma.
D. Narendra Varma, the senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of Guntur, announced the commencement of the special train services and asked the passengers to book tickets for these trains if they are unable to book tickets for regular trains.
Train number 07192 will depart from the Secunderabad Railway Station at noon and reach Vijayawada around 7:00 P.M., whereas train number 07193 will depart Vijayawada at 8:15 P.M., and will reach Secunderabad around 3:00 A.M.
The special train will have a total of 14 general coaches.
