“Khaidi No. 150” vs “Gautamiputra Satakarni” vs “Shatamanam Bhavati” Collections! In January, the Telugu film industry saw three big releases, two on the same day and one a day ahead of Pongal. These three movies are raking in collections not only in the home country but also overseas including the United States.

These three movies mainly benefited because of the festive season and also various holidays in the month of January. Also, two of the releases saw milestones for their stars. “Khaidi No. 150” which released on January 11 is the 150th movie of the Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi and also is his comeback after 9 years hiatus from the industry.

The second release is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Gautamiputra Satakarni” which is the 100th film of the actor. It premiered on January 12th and is directed by Anjanaputra Krish. The same day another film that released was “Shatamanam Bhavati” which stars Sharwanand and earned critical acclaim for the story line.

The movie “Khaidi No. 150” produced by Konidela productions and Lyca Productions and directed by V.V. Vinayak has raked in a distributor share of Rs. 100.95 crores worldwide making it the second biggest earner after “Baahubali: The beginning.” These 100 crores include 75 crores of distributor share in the Telugu speaking States of Seemandhra and Telangana and U.S. gross of $2.4 million.

The second release “Gautamiputra Satakarni” has raked in Rs. 66 crores with a distributor share of almost 50 crores globally. The Thrid release “Shatamanam Bhavati” collected $ 46,900 dollars at the US box office and a total of Rs.5.65 crores in the country apart from the US collections.
