Mumbai: Actor Radhika Apte, who is known for her choice of assignments, bagged the best actress trophy at Tribeca Film Festival. She won the award for her role in Clean Shaven a part Madly, which was directed by Anurag Kashyap. The “Madly” is a combination of six short stories, directed by different filmmakers.
On the official Twitter handle, Tribeca announced, “The #Tribeca2016 Award for Best Actress in an International Narrative Feature goes to… @Radhika_Apte in MADLY.”
Director Anurag Kashyap also tweeted, “Radhika Apte wins best actress at TriBeCa in dramatic competition for a 20min short from the anthology MADLY beating all feature actresses.”
