Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed condolences over the demise of Tollywood actor Kaikala Satyanarayana.
It is to be noted, on the 23rd of December, Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away at the age of 87 at his Hyderabad residence in the wee hours of Friday. He has served as an actor for a long time, has been garnered a special place in the Telugu film industry. He worked in over 750 films in his decade. He also served as the Lok Sabha member after joining politics.
Over a career spanning decades, he has played hero, antagonist and character roles in family and social dramas as well as mythological films. He was also a member of Parliament in the 11th Lok Sabha from the Telugu Desam party. Members of the Telugu film fraternity, united by grief, paid tribute to the veteran actor on social media
Expressing condolences, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Mr.Kaikala’s death is a great loss for the Telugu people and I express deepest sympathy to the family members of Kaikala.”
In addition, CM K. Chandrashekar Rao also expressed condolences.
Furthermore, the last rites of Tollywood veteran Kaikala would be held with state honours, on the 23rd of December.
