Kabul: As many as 25 people were killed and 10 others were injured in a car bomb blast near a NATO base in Afghanistan, according to reports in media.
The explosion killed 25 in Khost city on Sunday night. The blast occurred in a crowded road near the Chapman Camp. The injured were immediately admitted to a hospital in Khost city. The attack is considered as a suicide attack, according to reports. It is heard that the explosion was strong and loud and created panic among the people.
According to officials, the death toll is expected to climb high and no foreign personnel was injured in the bomb blast. Further investigation is underway and more details of the blast are still awaited.
