5.1 magnitude quake strikes Nepal again

Kathmandu, Nepal: An earthquake with magnitude 5.1 striked Nepal on Saturday at around 11.30 am. The third quake with the epicentre at Barpark in Gorkha district, once again sent shock waves among the people of Nepal. The quake created panic and people scrambled for open spaces. The series of aftershocks and quakes startled Nepal. So far, the death toll climbed more than 6,600 and is expected to reach 10,000. Many others were injured and thousands left unaccounted for.

On last Saturday, the massive tremor hit Nepal and other parts of India. Nearly 100 people in India, including Nepal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, died.
