Hyderabad: During a recent address, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized Harish Rao, alleging deceptive tactics with the Martyr’s Memorial. Reddy accused Rao of using the memorial as a façade for dishonesty, suggesting that Rao conveniently recalls it whenever he intends to deceive.

Reddy issued a challenge to Rao, vowing to waive off loans before August 15, emphasizing that thereafter, he would vacate his post in Siddipet. Referencing a resignation letter purportedly drafted by Rao, Reddy highlighted the inclusion of his uncle’s verse and reiterated his commitment to farmer loan waivers. However, he questioned the validity of Rao’s resignation if it lacks the speaker’s approval.

Reddy’s accusations extended to Rao’s tenure at Kaleswaram, alleging misappropriation of funds and land occupation. He emphasized the necessity of authority to fulfill promises, contrasting the proposed loan waiver with past financial discrepancies. The verbal exchange underscores political tensions surrounding governance and accountability.
