Hyderabad: Exit polls published by majority of agencies predicted a huge victory for Congress in the assembly elections held on Thursday. While results of the polls are scheduled to be declared on Sunday, exit polls released after polling raised curiosity among the public of Telugu states.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) formerly (TRS) has been in power for the last ten years and there is a scope for the anti incumbency. Congress on one side got sympathy from the public as a party which fulfilled the promise and gave Telangana state.
As per the predictions of India Tv CNX Congress is likely to win 63-79 seats, while BRS will manage to win only 31-47 seats. AIMIM is predicted to win 5-7 seats and BJP is likely to win 2-4 seats.
As per the predictions of Republic tv Matrize Congress is likely to win 56-68 seats, while BRS will manage to win only 46-56 seats. AIMIM is predicted to win 5-7 seats and BJP is likely to win 4-9 seats.
