New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid rich floral tributes to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his 140th birth anniversary. On the occasion, Mr. Modi also flagged off the “Run for Unity” event. The day is being celebrated as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day).
The Prime minister also paid tributes to the former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi on her death anniversary on his micro-blogging site Twitter.
