Amaravati: Nara Lokesh, the youth leader, is witnessing a surge in support for his mission to elevate Mangalagiri to the top spot, with prominent individuals from the constituency joining the cause.
Under the leadership of former AMC chairman Muttiah from Sranapuram village and former sarpanch Mallavarapu Nageswara Rao of Chinapalem village, 10 people each, including 6th ward member Kanapala Merikumari, joined the TDP. Additionally, 20 individuals under the guidance of Kumbha Kishore from Ward 18 of Tadepalli town also joined the party.
At a gathering held at Undavalli’s residence, Lokesh personally welcomed the new members, symbolically draping them in yellow scarves, and urged them to actively contribute to the party’s success. Emphasizing his commitment to Mangalagiri’s development, Lokesh expressed determination to contest and win from the constituency, despite suggestions to run in another area.
Lokesh highlighted TDP’s history of empowering marginalized communities, citing examples of Dalit speakers appointed by the party in both Lok Sabha and the legislative assembly. He condemned the cancellation of 27 welfare programs for Dalits under the current regime and reiterated TDP’s goal to uphold the interests of Telugus across the board.
Constituency Coordinator Nandam Abadiah also participated in the program, underscoring the collective effort towards the party’s victory in the upcoming elections.
