Godavari Maha Pushkaralu from 14th, Few rules set by Government

The Godavari Pushkaralu(holy dip) will be started from 14th July in Telangana, this will start soon after the MahaKumbhMela at Allahabad. This time the Pushkaralu is considered as more auspicious 12th time the 12 year Pushkaram cycle is being held starting with Ashadha month on Chaturdashi day. This even occurs once in 144 days.

Official says, The devotee who are coming to the Pushkar Ghats has to come with only one bath dress to change after the holy dip. None of the private vehicle will be allowed to park at Bhadrachalam. They have allotted five parking lots at five different places which are five kilometer away from the holy place. The pilgrims will be taken in RTC buses free of cost, these busses will drop them at the Sai Baba temple. The pilgrims will have to walk for one and a half kilometer to reach the river. These are the few strict rules taken by the officials in order to avoid havoc and stamping and to ensure a happy holy trip for all the Pilgrims.
