Google Doodle Celebrates Earth Day 2016

The search engine giant Google dedicates its Doodle for Earth Day as we are entering the 46th year of a movement that continues to challenge ideas, inspire, ignite passion, motivate people to action.

Earth Day is an annual event that is celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environment protection. This day was first celebrated in 1970 and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.

The visitors on the homepage are greeted with series of doodles where five animals, polar bear, fox, elephant, 
tortoise and octopus are profiled in it. Users can see the other illustrations by refreshing the homepage.
