This January, WhatsApp expanded its usability by extending its support to desktops as well via WhatsApp Web. Though the application on the desktop was great, it did limit users of some functionalities. Although the interface in the mobile application changed, WhatsApp web remained the same as it reflected the old web UI.
But now, in a bid to revamp WhatsApp’s desktop experience, WhatsApp has now added the much needed features in its web interface. The new update lets users on WhatsApp to manage conversations from the desktop itself. It also lets users to archive and delete the conversations and also change or edit WhatsApp status or their profile picture.
Initially, WhatsApp Web was only compatible with Google Chrome, but later, looking at the user demand, WhatsApp added two more browsers Opera and Firefox that can run WhatsApp Web on it.
