Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America (U.S.A.,) is scheduled to meet Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 23rd and 24th of September respectively.
The meeting will be held along the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session, which is scheduled to begin from the 23rd of September to the 27th of September.
After meeting Imran Khan, Donald Trump will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 24th of September.
Mr. Trump will also address the event ‘Howdy, Modi’ (How do you do, Modi?) in Houston, New York on the 22nd of September. This is the first time PM Modi would address a joint rally with the U.S.A., President. The event is scheduled to be held at the Sprawling NRG Stadium in Houston.
After addressing the ‘Howdy, Modi’ event, Donald Trump will leave for New York on the night of the 22nd of September. The next day, on the 23rd of September, Trump will conduct a meeting with Imran Khan and also address the 74th UNGA session.
On the 23rd of September, Trump is also scheduled to visit Ohio and meet Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of Australia.
An official of the White House, who wished to remain anonymous, shared Trump’s schedule. He said, “President Donald J. Trump will be travelling to Houston for ‘Howdy Modi: Shared Dreams Bright Futures’ event. That will be the day wherein he will travel on to Ohio where he will be joined by Prime Minister Morrison of Australia where they will visit Pratt industry and celebrate the U.S.A., economic relationship with Australia.”
He further added, “After that, the President is scheduled to meet with the following leaders. Prime Minister Khan of Pakistan, President (Andrzej Sebastian) Duda of Poland, Prime Minister (Jacinda) Arden of New Zealand, Prime Minister Lee (Hsien Loong) from Singapore, President al Sisi of Egypt and President Moon of S Korea.”
On the 24th of September, Trump will meet Mr. Modi for the second time and will discuss various bilateral, regional and global issues with him.
Mr. Modi left for the U.S.A., on the 20th of September and will attend several events there, including the 74th UNGA session.
Along the sidelines of the UNGA session, Modi is also scheduled to meet approximately 75 heads of foreign delegations.
Mr. Modi is expected to return to India on the 28th of September.
