Fuel Prices Remain Unchanged For 3rd February In Indian Metro Cities

On the 3rd of February, prices of fuels like petrol and diesel remained the same in cities like Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai.

In the past two weeks, in metro cities prices of diesel and petrol increased four times. The state run oil companies hiked the prices following the crude oil rates, which kept fluctuating.

Going by the prices, the petrol prices in Delhi are at Rs. 86.30 and diesel price at Rs. 76.48.

The petrol price in Hyderabad is at Rs. 89.77 and diesel at Rs. 83.46.

Besides Hyderabad and Delhi, petrol is Rs. 88.82 and diesel price per litre is Rs. 81.71in Chennai.

In Mumbai petrol is Rs. 92.86 and diesel is Rs. 83.30.

Petrol and diesel prices are continuously upswinging since the 6th of January 2021.

The basic reason behind the increased prices is due to high rates of global crude oil prices.

Oil marketing companies like Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum align the prices of domestic fuel with the global benchmarks, taking alterations in the foreign exchange rates into consideration.

Everyday fuel prices are updated at 6:00 A.M.
