A fire mishap occurred in a house of Hyderabad, turned tragic for the owners, as it unveiled Rs. 1.65 crores of unaccounted cash.

The incident occurred at the residence of Mr. Srinivas, the Director General Manager (DGM) of a private company, when during the rescue, a huge amount was recovered.   Although the owner suffered no loss of life or property damage, an unwanted hidden cash without any papers was found by the police.

According to the  Gopalapuram Inspector Sai Eshwar Goud said, “Before the fire could spread, we called in the fire department and firefighters douse the flames.” 

Later, after getting the information of cash, the police said, “We immediately went into the building and seized Rs. 1,64,46,000 cash kept in the house.  Some gold and silver articles were also found.”

Now, the Income Tax officials are informed about the cash, who would visit Srinivas’ residence and conduct raids and legal procedures regarding the recovered Rs. 1.64 crores.
