Guy proposes his girl friend with McDonald’s happy meal: In the recent times, the videos of cute and weird marriage proposals are going viral online. But unfortunately not every proposal ends with an yes. Here is one such proposal gone wrong.
A guy named Michael Joseph from Los Angeles met his girlfriend two years ago in a McDonald restaurant due to his improper planning. Inspired by his first date, he decided to propose his girl friend after 2 years at the same spot.
So he took her for a drive-thru and ordered a Crispy Chicken Deluxe sandwich. He already convinced McDonald’s crew into his plan and made them serve the engagement ring on top of a chicken Sandwich.
Perhaps McDonald’s forgot the special sauce, because things didn’t quite go as planned for him. While his girlfriend is initially speechless after finding the ring, she recovers enough to say, “This is a joke.”
Later she managed to put out the words together. “You’re not serious. This is not what you do. You can’t ask me to marry you in a chicken sandwich.” she says in between her laughs and sobs. McDonald’s Happy Meal, not so happy after all.
Later the guy posted his rejection video online. Afterwards while taking in an interview he said,” I met my girlfriend 2 years ago in LA. I’ve never been good at planning in advance which is why we wound up ending our first date at this exact McDonalds. She joked for months about how 10 years down the road I would probably propose to her in a chicken nugget box so I thought she would love when I surprised her this way.”
“It was a doofus move by me,” he acknowledged in the interview, “but it wasn’t a tragedy. I couldn’t care less if people call me or dumb or not. I think the people who know me understand. It’s humiliating, a little, I guess but I don’t pay attention to stuff like that.”
Don’t worry buddy everything will work out eventually, but next time keep the sandwiches away.
