On Monday, police in Gurgaon reported a woman was assaulted by three men inside an auto rickshaw after the woman’s nine month old daughter was thrown out of the moving vehicle.
The 23 year old victim claimed that she was on her way to her parent’s house in Khandsa village around midnight. She alleged that after an argument with her husband she took her baby girl and decided to go to her parents home.
The victim told the police she took a ride in a rickshaw with three other men and they began molesting her as soon as she got into the vehicle.
She tried to resist the men that led to her baby crying, so they men allegedly threw the baby out of the auto.
The Gurgaon police official reported that the baby succumbed to injuries and died.
On the old Khandsa road in Gurgaon near the Delhi Gurgaon expressway was where the woman claims to have been assaulted by the three men.
The senior officer in charge reported, “A case of murder and assault has been registered. We are investigating the matter as woman alleging assaulted has refused to undergo medical examination.”
This case is among many assault cases that have been coming to light in the past few months. A 26 year old woman was assaulted in Gurgaon in a moving car and then the accused threw the woman in a semi conscious state near her house.
