With the extension of the ongoing lockdown in Telangana, the Telangana Chief Minister announced a list of Red, Orange and Green Zones for the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, conducted a Cabinet meeting on the 5th of May, and based on the Novel Coronavirus spread in different areas, decided the zones.
According to the State Government, 6 districts are under Red Zones, 18 districts in the Orange Zones and 9 districts in the Green Zones.

Telangana recorded a total of 1,096 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 29 fatalities till the 6th of May.
