YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Launches Jagananna Chedodu Scheme Today

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 10th of June, launched another welfare scheme named Jagananna Chedodu Scheme.

Launched by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)the Jagananna Chedodu Scheme would provide financial assistance to  tailors, nayi brahmins and rajakas in the State.

The State Government would provide financial assistance of minimum of Rs. 10,000 per year.  The amount would be deposited in the accounts of eligible beneficiaries directly in phased manner.

In the first phase, 2,47,040 beneficiaries will be provided financial assistance among which 1,25,926 are tailors, 82,347 are laundry men and 38,767 are Nayi Brahmins.

The State Government released an amount of Rs. 247 crores for the purpose.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the scheme at the YSRCP camp office in Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh.  The event was a low key affair with a limited memmbers of the YSRCP.

The Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government launched 3rd scheme for the welfare of the people in the State amid the out break of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Despite reporting regular COVID-19 cases and fighting the pandemic crisis, the State Government is active in terms of launching new schemes to help citizens with financial benefits.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 5,247 cases of the Novel Coronavirus till the 10th of June.  Out of the total, 2,300 are active cases, 2,893 recovered and 78 deceased.
