Nandyala: Minister NND Farooq has made significant remarks targeting the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress (YSRCP) leadership and its Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Addressing a gathering, Farooq asserted that if Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had his way, there would be no YCP MLAs left in the Assembly.
Farooq criticized YCP leaders, alleging they are distancing themselves from Jagan Mohan Reddy due to his alleged “sadism.” He claimed that YCP MLAs are struggling to cope with the current leadership’s behavior and have become increasingly disillusioned.
The minister also addressed a recent incident in Vinukonda, where a rowdy sheeter named Rashid was killed, attributing the violence to an extra-marital affair. Farooq refuted Jagan’s allegations that 36 murders occurred during the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) regime. He challenged Jagan to provide concrete evidence, including the names and FIRs of the victims, to substantiate his claims.
Farooq’s statements reflect ongoing political tensions and highlight the contentious atmosphere between the ruling YCP and the opposition.
