South Hungary: A Hungarian TV Journalist was fired on Tuesday after the footage witnessed to show her kicking the migrants, including children, while they were running from the police line during disturbances at Roszke, southern Hungary.
Petra Laszlo, Hungarian Journalist was seen stumbling a man sprinting with a child in his arms and kicking another running child in two different incidents.
This footage came in limelight when the video was telecasted on N1TV, an online based TV station close to Hungary’s far-right Jobbik party.
“An N1TV colleague today behaved in an unacceptable way at the Roszke collection point,” said a statement from N1TV’s editor-in-chief Szabolcs Kisberk this video went viral as soon as they posted it on social media.
“The camerawoman’s employment contract has been terminated with immediate effect as of today, we consider the matter closed,” it read.
The incident took place as hundreds of migrants broke through the police line at a collection point close to the Serbian border where thousands have been crossing over each day for the past month.
