Government offices near the Rashtrapati Bhawan will be closed early from the scheduled time, in the wake of the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.

The Personnel Ministry also issued a notice stating, “The government offices located in the North Block, South Block, Rail Bhawan, Vayu Bhawan, Sena Bhawan, DRDO and Hutments would be closed early at 2.00 pm in connection with arrangements for the swearing in ceremony of the Prime Minister.”

Mr. Modi will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on the 30th of May, at 7:00 P.M. He will administer the oath in front of Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA,) on the 25th of May, conducted a meeting and officially elected Modi as the Prime Minister.

BJP political leaders, Chief Ministers of Indian states and leaders of the opposition parties are also invited to attend the event in Delhi.

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) will also attend the oath taking ceremony.
