India is witnessing a rise in the Wuhan Virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, suspecting another wave of the pandemic.
On the 6th of April, Thursday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) released the updated data of the Novel Coronavirus. In the released updated data, the nation registered 5,335 new cases of the Wuhan Virus, with 13 deaths in the past 24 hours. The cases continued to increase, as compared to the cases on the 5th of April, the number of cases increased by over 900 cases the next day, on the 6th of April.
With the new cases, the active cases of the Wuhan virus reached to the tally of 25,587, whereas the deceased cases tally reached at 5,30,929 with 1.19% fatality rate. In addition, the recovery rate is at 98.76% and 0.05% active cases.
States like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala and Punjab are recording the maximum number of single day cases of the Wuhan Virus.
Meanwhile, concerned about the rising cases, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs issued guidelines and advisory for respective state governments to take the necessary action.
