Mumbai: Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit landed in hot water for endorsing ‘Maggi’. A notice was sent to her on Friday on the claims made in the advertisement by the Food and Drug Administration. She was asked as how Maggie is good for health.
According to an official, the notice asked the actress a report on claims made in the advertisement regarding the nutrition value of the Maggie. If she fails to respond within 15 days to the notice, a case could be registered against her.
Recently, Maggie faced troubles when Food Safety and Drug Administration of Uttar Pradesh collected the samples and reported that the food contains more monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead than the permissible limits.
