Mumbai: The wedding date of actor Shahid Kapoor has been declared. Shahid is all set to tie the knot with Delhi-based Mira Rajput on July 7 in Gurgaon. Only family members and close friends are expected to witness the D-day of the actor. It is heard that Shahid wants the wedding to be a low key affair.
The invitation cards of the wedding ceremony have been distributed. The card looks like an elegant and simple one.
A source close to Shahid revealed that the wedding is going to be a low affair and both Mira and Shahid wants their special day to be a simple one. The source also clarified that Shahid’s exes are not invited for the wedding.
Earlier, there were reports that Shahid is inviting all his former girlfriends to the wedding ceremony. But source confirmed that Shahid’s exes are not invited to the wedding but can expect at the reception. A grand reception will be organised by the couple after the wedding. All A-listers are expected to attend the reception and pour their wishes.
The new couple of B-town will apparently not to go off to a honeymoon after the marriage due to his upcoming projects. Shahid will get back to work after a short break, according to sources.
