Hyderabad: The much-hyped movie of Super Star Mahesh Babu titled “Srimanthudu” has completed its censor formalities and bagged U/A certificate without any cuts. The flick is all set for a grand release on August 7, 2015 across the globe.
Directed by Koratala Siva, “Srimanthudu” is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Actor Mahesh Babu is playing lead role in the film as Harsha and actress Shruthi Haasan has been roped in as Mahesh’s love interest as Charuseela in the romantic drama for the first time.
Actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing an important role in the movie. The film also features Rajendra Prasad, Sukanya, Brahmanandam, Sivaji Raja, Aamani, Angana Roy, Sanam Shetty, Tejaswi Madivada, Sampath Raj and Mukesh Rishi are in supporting roles. Actor Rahul Ravindran and actress Poorna will also appear in cameo roles in the movie.
Touted to be a family entertainer, the film is a perfect blend of all commercial elements. Music director Devi Sri Prasad scored tunes. The album of “Srimanthudu” became a huge hit and also elevated the expectations on the film.
