The bomb maker for the terror group Indian Mujahideen, Ariz Khan, was arrested. A Delhi Police Officer announced on Wednesday the man who carried out multiple bomb blasts in Delhi was arrested.
Khan is an engineering dropout who was behind the bombs that went off in 2007 and 2008 in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Khan is responsible for taking the lives of over 165 people and injuring 535 people.
Ariz Khan has managed to evade the authorities for a long time and moved to Nepal. He managed to get a Nepali citizenship card and passport under the name Salim. Khan spent his days teaching in schools in Nepal.
In September 2014, Khan met the founder of the Indian Mujahideen Riyaz Bhatkal. The founder convinced Khan to travel to Saudi Arabia to make money to revive the group. The authorities stated Khan worked as a laborer as a cover while meeting sympathizers and attempting to revive the group.
Finally in March 2017, Ariz Khan returned to Nepal and traveled to India a few times as well. But Khan’s luck ran out when authorities nabbed him at the India Nepal border where Khan went to meet an old contact.
