Cairo: A Russian plane on Saturday crashed in Egypt with 224 passengers on-board. The mishap took place in Central Sinai, Egypt. Officials of the Egypt confirmed the news. From the Prime Minister’s office a statement has been issued and it said that Sherif Ismail had formed a cabinet level crisis committee to deal with the crash.
The plane was an airbus A-321 jet and was carrying 224 passengers. It was operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia. Further details are still awaited.
