President of Russia Evacuates Citizens from Vladivostok

Early on Tuesday morning, the Russian President Vladimir Putin relocated 1,500 people from the city that is along the common border shared with North Korea. This was done immediately after North Korea fired a ballistic missile over Japan and into the Northern Pacific ocean.

Vladimir Putin ordered the citizens of Vladivostok to relocate to safer places in the country’s far east as tensions in the region are rising.

The decision to evacuate the citizens came after President Donald Trump said, “All options are on the table.”

The United States President responded to North Korea’s continuous threats and said North Korea has, “signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior.”

A news channel reported President Putin fears that the United States will wage a war against North Korea if it continues to fire missiles.

The United Nations have placed a number of sanctions on North Korea for nuclear and ballistic missile testing but still Kim Jong Un has continued to test ballistic missiles increasing the country’s nuclear capabilities.

Putin has been maintaining a steady treaty of friendship and cooperation with North Korea since he first took the office as president of Russia, in 2000.
