TDP Wants KCR To Resign

The Telugu Desam Party on Saturday has demanded the resignation of Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for his role in tapping the telephones of other political parties and in which mainly TDP party is exposed.
E. Dayakar Rao a prominent TDP leader said, ‘The TRS Government stooped down to tapping telephones and blackmailed important leaders of other parties who refused to fall in line.

Referring to this issue, the TPD leader stated that,“The Chief Minister should resign and tender apology to people”.
“The government might have tapped telephones of AP leaders, but why should the government tap telephones of Telangana leaders?” he questioned, adding this exposes the vindictive attitude of the KCR government against the Opposition parties.
According to the other issues, he said the TDP would organize a demonstration in coordination with other political parties in Warangal on August 5 in support of the demand for construction of houses for the poor. Though the government had allocated Rs. 1,000 crore for housing in the budget, it had not released the funds, the TDP leader alleged.
